ADSL CPE - Bridge/Router/IAD/Gateway

GlobeSpan's Argon (TM) is a three chip solution for an ADSL Bridge/Router/IAD/Gateway with expansion capability to implement an IAD for VoIP or VoDSL IAD, or wireless Router/Gateway or a VPN DSL Router. The solution supports ADSL Annex A, B or C and SHDSL.
The chip set consists of 3 chips, a Communications Processor, a xDSL DSP (PHY) and an analog front end (AFE). The Communications Processor includes interfaces to the ADSL PHY, system SDRAM, Flash Memory, with embedded 10/100Mbit Ethernet MAC/PHY, slave USB 1.1 and PCMCIA interface.
The xDSL PHY/AFE are a fully-programmable transceiver that supports all standard compliant versions of ADSL and SHDSL including ITU G.992.1 (G.DMT), ITU G.992.2 (G.Lite), ANSI T1.413 Issue 2, ANSI TR-59 (CAP) and QAM.
