The WAC-013-B 51/155 Mbps SONET ATM UNI Module maps 53-byte ATM cells asynchronously into a synchronous SONET/SDH payload. It provides access to the SONET/SDH interface via an optical interface. This module can also be used with external circuitry in any SONET/SDH application requiring an STS-3c/STM-1 interface for the public network. The SONET ATM UNI Module has a built-in SONET crystal, a clock recovery circuit, and an optical transceiver. It is ideal for fast prototyping and low-volume ATM interface production.
