Globespan/Virata (GlobespanVirata, Inc. ) : Titanium (TM) CPE

Titanium G7000 ADSL CPE CHIP SET

The Titanium G7000 is a complete two-chip ADSL solution. This sixth generation of field proven ADSL supports all ADSL customer premises applications. The G7000 is a fully programmable chip set that supports all standard compliant versions of ADSL including ITU G.992.1 (G.DMT), ITU G.992.2 (G.Lite), ITU G.992 Annex A, Annex B, Annex C, ANSI T1.413 Issue 2, and CAP (TR-59).

The Titanium G7000 consists of a digital signal processor (DSP) [e.g. GS7070] and an analog front end (AFE) [GT3180] that integrates all ADSL and ATM functions. The DSP supports a fully integrated framer with ATM UTOPIA Level 1, Level 2 serial ATM and microprocessor interfaces.

    Features

    • Low power, high density two-chip solution consists of a 144-pin TQFP DSP/Framer and a 100-pin TQFP Analog Front End (AFE)
    • Standards compliant functionality supports:
      • ITU G.992.1 (G.DMT),
      • ITU G.992.2 (G.Lite),
