    EISA ATM Adapter

    The Interphase 4815 EISA ATM Adapter provides full duplex ATM connectivity for many EISA-compliant systems from high performance Pcs and workstations to powerful multiprocessing servers running Windows NT and Novell NetWare. The 4815 provides connectivity for multimode fiber, single-mode fiber, or Category 5 Unshielded Twisted Pair copper media. Features are:

    • Provides a Full Duplex, 100 Mbit/s and 155 Mbit/s ATM Network Connection for EISA-based Systems
    • Broad Platform Compatibility with Support for Microsoft Windows NT and Novell NetWare
    • Multimode Fiber, Single-mode Fiber, and UTP Copper Media Options
    • Connectivity to Existing Legacy LANs via ATM Forum-compatible LAN Emulation and RFC 1577 (Classical IP over ATM)
    • ATM Forum UNI 3.0/3.1 Signaling
    • Supports Up to 2,048 User Configurable Virtual Channel Identifiers (VCIs)
    • Traffic Shaping via Cell Scheduling and VC-independent Buffering
    • Hardware-based (Segmentation and Reassembly) SAR for Enhanced Performance
    • 512K On-board Buffer Memory
    • Dual Channel Bus Master
    • Full-featured Queued Transmit & Receive Command Interfaces
    • CellView(tm) Graphical Management Software
