    PCI ATM Adapter

    The 6515 CPCI ATM Adapter is a 3U CompactPCI adapter providing full-duplex 155Mbps ATM connectivity for embedded systems. Utilizing Interphase (i)chipTM SAR technology for superior performance and functionality, the 6515 supports UNI 3.0/3.1 Signalling, RFC 1577 (Classical IP over ATM), LAN Emulation, and multiple ELANs. Also included with the 6515 is the CellViewTM Configuration Management Utility for easy set-up and administration on supported operating systems including Microsoft Windows NT, UnixWare, NetWare, AIX and Solaris X86. Features are:

    • 3U CompactPCI form factor (100mm x 160mm)
    • Provides full duplex 155Mbps ATM network connectivity
    • Multimode Fiber and Singlemode Fiber Media Options
    • Interphase (i)chip SAR technology for superior reliability and performance
    • Connectivity to Existing LANs via ATM Forum LAN Emulation and RFC 1577 (IP over ATM)
    • ATM Forum UNI 3.0/3.1 Signalling
    • Supports up to 2,048 User Configurable Virtual Channel Identifiers (VCIs)
    • Traffic Shaping via Cell Scheduling and VC-independent buffering
