    The CELLerity 1110 Series ATM Network Interface Card (NIC) supports high-speed data communications for computer systems with a SBus interface. With the SBus NIC, you can take advantage of the capabilities ATM brings to your network by increasing your networks performance, maximizing available bandwidth, and deploying scaleable networks. The Connectware SBus NIC is based on the CELLerity SARchip. Optimizing ATM performance, the SARchip incorporates the physical layer functions, a 32-bit DMA controller and a 64-bit RISC engine, on a single chip. The SARchip is integrated with standards compliant traffic shaping / flow control, supporting 1024 concurrently active virtual connections on a per-VC basis. This sophisticated chip is ABR capable allowing conformance to Traffic Management 4.0 standards.
